In addition to my consulting work, I am committed to public scholarship that bridges research, teaching, practice, and lived experience. My writing explores reflective practice, professional supervision, teaching & learning, and the evolving identities of helping professionals across academic and applied settings.
Since 2013, I have maintained the blog Teaching and Learning in Social Work, where I focus more explicitly on pedagogy, curriculum design, educational technology, and the scholarship of teaching and learning in social work. This space is particularly oriented toward educators, field instructors, and academic leaders seeking applied, reflective approaches to teaching and learning.
I am also starting a new adventure on Substack, where I share reflective essays, teaching insights, practical tools, and curated resources related to my work as a social work educator, coach, and clinical supervisor. These pieces are grounded in professional values, cultural humility, and strengths-based practice, and are designed to support thoughtful, sustainable professional growth.
My peer-reviewed publications and scholarly contributions are available through my Google Scholar profile. Together, my academic publications, blog writing, and public-facing essays reflect a commitment to engaged scholarship that is accessible, practice-informed, and responsive to the real-world contexts in which professionals teach, learn, supervise, and lead.
My writing is intended for academics, practitioners, supervisors, and helping professionals who are seeking space to pause, reflect, and reconnect with purpose—whether in teaching, leadership, supervision, or professional development.
