Laurel Iverson Hitchcock
I am a licensed social worker, educator, coach, and consultant with over two decades of experience in higher education, clinical practice, and professional development. My work centers on supporting social workers, educators, and helping professionals as they navigate complexity, leadership, and change.
My background in teaching and scholarship informs every aspect of my consulting work. I bring a reflective, values-based approach to coaching, supervision, and continuing education, grounded in ethical decision-making, adult learning theory, and social work values. I work with individuals and groups balancing multiple professional roles and responsibilities, seeking clarity, sustainability, and growth in their work.
Across all services, I emphasize reflective practice, attention to power and context, and alignment between personal values and professional roles.
